I’m Kirstie and I founded Juby Interior Design to create beautiful homes at affordable prices.
I specialise in residential interior design, so I love to create charming spaces in your home, that reflect your personal style and work in harmony with the character of your building. I work in all sorts of homes from new builds, to renovations and period properties.
With me, you’ll get a down-to-earth, personal service. My aim is to give you a design crafted around your favourite textures, colours, and aesthetics, while working seamlessly with the functionality you need in your home. I take time to get to know your preferences and your personality, so that your home feels like a true reflection of who you are.
I have over 30 years’ experience in interior design. Before I started Juby Interior Design, I ran the interior design department of Britain’s largest co-owned department store. FREE CONSULTATION
Tell me about your project. What’s your vision? How can I help you achieve it? I’ll ask you questions to get a clear idea of the aims and the scope of your project. You can ask me any questions about the process and decide if you’d like to go ahead.

SITE VISIT
I’ll visit your property to start the creative ideas flowing. Practically, it’s also a chance for me to take measurements, appreciate the flow of your home and understand how the light affects your rooms.

CONCEPT AND COLLABORATION
You can see all of the ideas I’ve pulled together for you in a mood board. Once you’ve chosen a theme, we’ll agree on the colours and fabrics that you like and discuss the fittings and appliances. You can tell me how involved you’d like me to be on the project management side, and we’ll agree a budget.

TRANSFORMATION
Work begins! For a fully managed project, I’ll source all the materials and furniture and liaise with the tradesmen. You can be as involved as you’d like to be while we seamlessly transform your space.

AFTERCARE
We pop the champagne and celebrate your new design – hooray!
On my final visit, we’ll check that we are both happy with the finish.
But it doesn’t all end there. I give you a 12-month warranty, so if you have any problems or queries once we’ve finished the project, I’m just at the end of the phone to assist.
The design process should be stress-free for you, so there are no surprises when it comes to my fees. I’ll give you a clear idea of the price from the outset, once I have a better idea of the scope and complexity of your project.
Often that will be a fixed price based on a percentage of the project spend. If you’re looking for a consultation, or a small, contained project, I’ll give you a quote based on my hourly rate.
To give you peace of mind, I discuss pricing options with you at the start of your project. Where we need to make adjustments to accommodate a fixed budget, I’ll find suitable alternatives to keep within the allocated spend.
With many years in the design industry, I can price your project accurately, and I’ll always negotiate with suppliers to get the best price for you.
